Glass Lined Vessels Maintenance and Repair

Glass lined vessels are frequently used to handle aggressive and corrosive fluids in equipment such as reactors and columns. The condition of the glass lining should be periodically checked to ensure safe and reliable operation of these equipment. At InKorr, we have the tools and experience to provide testing and inspection of glass lined vessels across Australia. We can also perform tantalum repairs on the vessel on-site if the damage is detected early.

We will happily work with you to develop a maintenance and testing regime for your glass lined vessels that can help identify any problems early, in order to minimise equipment down-time and repair costs. Together with our partnership with 3V Tech Glasscoat in Italy, InKorr is able to assist you with all aspects related to your glass lined vessels.

Repairs

If detected early, some damage such as cracks or pinholes on the glass lining can be repaired with a Tantalum cover and PTFE gasket. The size of the tantalum cover required is dependant on the size of the damage. InKorr technicians can come on-site to complete these repairs.

We can also offer re-glassing services as well as new replacement parts if repairs are not possible.
